Rules for robotic club sumo

Rule 1 - Outside of robot sumo club nobody speaks about robot sumo club.
Rule 2 - The first you come to robot sumo club you MUST fight.
Rule 3 - The combat ground is an A0 sheet of paper with a thick black oval printed on it.
Rule 4 - Each round lasts a maximum of 2 minutes. If nobody has won the match is a draw.
Rule 5 - Each match is three rounds, if there is no winner then it becomes sudden death, with rounds of two minutes until there is a winner.
Rule 6 - First one out of the ring loses.
Rule 7 - The weight of the robots is fixed and cannot be modified by the team.
Rule 8 - Robots are standardised and the teams may modify the sensors and the code.

We will have a rehersal before the real thing!
